The upcoming flu season in the US and the rest of the northern hemisphere is creating a filling of uncertainty, while the current H1N1 virus is continuing to cause illness, hospitalizations and deaths during the usually flu-free summer period.
According to ancient healing philosophy, No other forms of protection is greater than your own immune system.
Boost Your Immune System
So at times like this it will be extremely beneficial for you to take strong herbs and nutrients to boost your immune system and reduce the risk of being infected. I have prepared a strong herbal formula for those of my clients who feel that they need the immune support to get through the upcoming winter season and this vulnerable time. This immune stimulating herbal formula was used by Chinese doctors to boost people’s immune system for many centuries.
If you are not sure whether you need extra support , I encourage you to contact your Hemaview (live blood analysis) practitioner to count your white cells and inform you about their current activity. You can then make an informed decision.
Medical History
I highly recommend you to take immune booster if you have a medical history of immune insufficiency. This means that you used to get regular cold and flu or throat and lung infection in winter or you normally pick up bugs that is going around or you have been medically confirmed to have low white cell count.
If you do have children who go to school and day care centres, please make sure they take immune herb every day. Children are the primary concerns because they are the best medium to spread germs. There are even special formulas for kids which tastes great.
A doctor treats disease, but a Wise doctor builds health from inside to prevent disease.
Tips
Here are a few tips to minimise the risk of infection this winter:
- Expose to sunlight as much as you can (wear a hat to protect your head and face)
- Wear warm cloth even when it is not that cold. Keep your body temperature higher rather than lower
- Drink warm water throughout the day. Do not drink icy cold water
- Do not allow yourself to be constipated. Do whatever you can to keep the bowel regular
- Ensure adequate amount of sleep
- Wash your hands before eating. Do not suck sauce off your fingers
- Avoid touching metal surface. The Swine Flu virus can live on metal surface for up to two days
- As soon as you feel that you have aches and pains all over the body and you feel exhausted or started to experience hot and cold sensation, call your natural practitioner or your doctor immediately.
Take greater care of yourself!
